List of templates
From Monstropedia
|
Templates ease the task of editing by reproducing a predetermined message within the body of the article. Please return to and review this list frequently - it is continually under construction.
Create an article about a new creatureTo provide for a more consistent layout for readers of Monstropedia, we use article templates for most articles. You can use the following templates either to start a new article, or as guidelines for reformatting or adding to existing articles. We think it's great to have simple, logical sections for each article on Monstropedia. This makes it easier for readers to find the info they need on any particular creature. Sure, it cuts down somewhat on contributors' creative license, but it makes our encyclopedian task easier. Insert {{monster template}} at the beginning of the article to produce the main captions.
Acknowledging other wiki's as a sourceWikipediaIf you have used Wikipedia as the source for an article, insert {{wikipedia}} at the end of the article to produce:
ThelemapediaSome material in the Help section was adapted from Thelemapedia. There is therefore a template {{thelemapedia}}:
The Book of THoTHInsert template {{thoth}}:
StubsIf your article is a stub, add {{stub}} at the top of the article to produce this message: This article or section is a stub. You can help Monstropedia by expanding it.
Image copyright templatesTagging images is an important part of editing. Please do not submit copyrighted work without permission. When uploading images, ensure they are tagged using the correct template. Book coversAdd the template {{book cover}} in the summary box to produce: This image is of a book cover, and the copyright for it is most likely owned either by the artist who drew the cover or the publisher of the book. It is believed that the use of low-resolution images of book covers on Monstropedia
to illustrate an article discussing the book in question, qualifies as fair use. Other use of this image, on Monstropedia or elsewhere, may be copyright infringement. To the uploader: please add a fair use rationale for each use, as well as the source of the work. Public domain imagesWhere an image is in the public domain due to the author being dead for 100 years, use {{PD100}} in the summary box:
