The Bolla (also known as 'Bullar')is a creature in Albanian folklore. It is described as a snake-like (or dragon-like) creature. The folklore tells that the creature lies dormant for 364 days, until April 23, Saint George's Day. Then it opens its eyes and devours the first living thing it sees. It has a twelve-year life cycle, after which it mutates into a creature called Kulshedra.
