The krasue is part of Southeast Asian mythology and is part of popular folklore in Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand. It is the floating head of a vampire female ghost. Out of the neck of the ghost intestines hang and flutter around like streamers.

Several films depict the krasue, including the 2002 Thai film Krasue (Demonic Beauty), 2006's Krasue Valentine by Yuthlert Sippapak, the Cambodian film, Nieng Arp (Lady Vampire), Hong Kong's Witch with the Flying Head (1977) and Indonesia's Mystics In Bali (1981).
