Mary and Anna were Hondurainian conjoined twins and sideshow performers.
Life
The twins were born in Rio Hondo, Honduras, on May 17, 1907. Their mother died at birth, but through scientific care and nourishment they have developed perfectly normal bodies and brains. They have been tutored privately for years and both speak good English and are accomplished in music and other accomplishments. They toured the United States with the Sells-Floto and Norris and Rowe circuses for several years until 1929, when one sister fell ill. After their return to Honduras, both girls passed away.
