Nurarihyon is a discrete yokai who sneaks into houses on busy evenings.
On nights when everyone is busy preparing the evening meal, Nurarihyon sometimes sneak into the house, smoking the family's tobacco and drinking their tea.
Though he is said to be the supreme commander of the yokai, his manner is refined and so confident that everyone simply assumes he is the master of the house.
