Nice work so far. However, I know of some resources (books, mostly) that can help you. Check out Jonathan Maberry's Vampire Universe and The Vampire Slayer's Field Guide to the Undead, and Bob Curran's Vampires. You will find a wealth of information in these books. I should know.
