As you write about what Gorgon/Medusa symbolize, as well as quoting Freud, I would also add the fact that Medusa, as stated in the book "Female Rage: Unlocking Its Secrets, Claiming It's Power" Carol Southern Books, NY 1994, written by Mary Valentis Ph.D. and Ann Devane, PhD, is also used as a mean to explore aspects of female rage as well as male incapacity to face it. While Freud only considered the sexual aspect, the authors state rage as one of the three basic instincts, with fear and sexuality. --Bloody Angel 05:48, 23 June 2006 (EDT)

Could you work this into the article? Viper 10:24, 23 June 2006 (EDT)
If the editor who wrote the main article agrees and it makes sense to our C.E., of course. --Bloody Angel 10:33, 23 June 2006 (EDT)
It doesn't require agreement from the original contributor; that is one of the principles of the project - your original work can be mercilessly edited by anyone. Viper 09:46, 25 June 2006 (EDT)
