This template is for pages that are in need of protection. The user who adds this template to a page does not have permission to protect the page. To add this template to a page, add {{protect}} to it. It will look like this:
If you want to have a reason, do {{protect|Reason}}. It will look like this:
If you don't want the page to be added to the category Pages in Need of Protection, then do {{protect|cat=no}}.
For Admins
Remove the template before protecting the page.
