Actually, the creature described here as having 'no head, with eyes in the shoulders...etc' is a Blemmyae, which means 'no brain'. Anthropohagi quite literally means 'man eater', and while some attributed this behavior to Blemmyae, it most certainly wasn't their defining feature. Even Pliny differs.
