The Argippeans were a tribe that used to live on the foothills of high mountains located northeast of Scythia.
Description
The Argippeans were said to be all bald from their birth, snubbed-nosed and with long beards [Herodotus, IV. 23]. Other pretend that they wear skull caps that make them appear bald in the distance.
Origin
Opinions stand for the Argippeans being probably a Mongoloid tribe living south to Altai mountains.
