From legends of India, the Avalerion is a type of mythical bird that has common features with the phoenix.
Myth states only two of these birds exist at a time. A pair of eggs is laid every 60th year and, after hatching the eggs, the parents drown themselves. The Avalerion is rumored to be found in India.
