Bal-Bal is a monster that steals corpse in a funeral or grave and feeds on them in Philippine mythology.
Description
To Bal-bal, dead human bodies are very fragrant. It has very sharp claws and teeth that can rip the clothing of the dead. It has also a foul breath because it only eats corpse. After this monster has spotted and snatched the corpse, it will leave a trunk of a banana in the coffin to create an illusion of the stolen body trick people.
