Maxine-Mina was born in the Philippines (Luzon) around 1896. In 1918, Maxine-Mina worked for the Sheesley Zoo and was exhibited in Atlantic City, New Jersey, and Coney Island. According to Rear Admiral G.W. Baird, who saw her on exhibition, she still had some control of her extra legs. and usually performed naked to show them off. The only clothes she ever wore was either a shirt or a dress, her extra limbs made it impossible for her to wear anything below her waste. Her age and death are unknown, but it is known that even after her extra legs became weakened, she could still move them.
