Shivshankari Yamanappa Mootageri of Karnataka, India, born in 1978. Her third leg is a fusion of two legs, possessing nine toes on its single, cleft foot. Shivshankari, who believes, as do many people in her tiny village, that her third limb is a symbol of divine blessing has exhibited herself before huge crowds of up to 1,000 people at one time, making enough money to support her entire family.
