Six legged salamander

The six-legged salamander or salamandra ignis, is a special salamander with a strange adaptions like of six legs and an odd life cycle. they live in volcanic regions of southern Europe, northern Africa and Iceland, How they got to Iceland is a mystery. Living in live and very hot climates, means the salamander needs many changes. This is why it has flame-resistant skin and tongue, long tail for balance and, three pair of legs to quickly scatter over large hot rocks. The six-legged salamander can grow to a large 2 feet long and it eats glowworms, fireflies, grubs, larva and pretty much any insect or bug that it can find. They are known for their venomous milk that they use to kill their prey and extinguish flames. These salamanders look just like the typical European salamander except for it`s number of legs and it`s snake-like head. This creature lays it`s eggs near volcanic vents so the eggs can hatch in hot ash at night to eat the first meal of flickering fireflies. The six-legged salamander is well protected by the flowing forms of lava and if they lose a leg, a new one will grow back hours later.
