Star people is a new age term , popularized in books by Brad Steiger, to qualify humans who are allegedly extraterrestrial reborn.
Etymology
Brad Steiger has borrowed the term star people from native Americans who believe that the stars are the homes of spiritual beings who have a connection with people on Earth. He defines the term starborn as "the feeling and knowingness by some people that they have come to Earth from another planet or star system".
Subgroups
According to Steiger, there are four kinds of Star People -- Refugees, Utopians, Energy Essences, and reincarnated E.T.'s -- all of whom have been placed on Earth to prepare it for the great changes that will come in the wake of worldwide disasters that will precede mass landings by the Star People's off-world relatives. In his 1981 book, The Star People, Steiger predicted a pole shift and worldwide famine in 1982, World War III in the mid-1980s, and Armageddon in 1989.

Contactee chronicler Brad Steiger says you may be a Star Person if you are physically attractive, have a magnetic personality, require little sleep, hear unusually well, work in the healing or teaching profession, and harbor the suspicion that this world is not your home. Steiger discovered this while working on a book on space channeling. When he announced his discovery in the May 1, 1979, issue of the National Enquirer, he was inundated with letters from people who recognized themselves.
Mission
Some "star people" represent the Ashtar Command or other ET groups and civilizations. Everyone is a visitor, living on Earth to perform a mission. As we are approaching the end of the Piscean age, the space commands are increasing their communications and interactions with their incarnated representatives. It has been said that there are at present about 144 000 Lightworkers from the Ashtar Command on Earth. That is the minimum of souls required for the ascension process. They are called "Eagles" within the command. These Eagles are a group of souls who don`t identify with a special planet.
