The Wisht Hounds or Yeth Hounds (which means Heath Hounds) is the Wild Hunt is Somerset and Devon in England, especially seen on Dartmoor.
They were variously described as being led by the Devil himself; or by Dando, a flagitious priest of St. Germans; or else by Cheney, "a dim and indistinct figure in Cornish legend" (Lewis Spence, pg 95).
